What We Have

Around the world, catamarans (twin-hull) boats are mainly used for racing or for handling rough seas. There are also larger cruiser types with houses built on top. However, until now, these boats haven’t been used as much for fishing. Through effort, we have managed to overcome the disadvantages of catamarans to solidify a unique position in the Japanese leisure boat market.

1. Improving the Outward Tilt (Outer Swing) in Turning

By narrowing the width of the boat, and lowering the center of gravity, we stabilized turning.

2. Assuring Stability on the Waves

Catamarans are known for having trouble moving straight when different levels of resistance are applied to the right and left hulls and it is also difficult to keep straight in wavy conditions.

Our original Asymmetrical Catamaran Hulls (the shapes of each hull on the left and right are asymmetrical), have been developed to achieve stability when moving straight forward.

3.Current Skeg for Navigation on One Engine

Catamarans basically run on at least 2 engines, but by attaching our unique Current Skeg (protrusion), they can run on just one.

The Current Skeg’s bottom shape was inspired by the Apollo Program Command Ship.

Our unique design modifications help to overcome this problem, making it easier to use catamarans as recreational boats.

What’s more, when run at regular speeds, the fuel efficiency of our catamarans is 15-20% better than that of mono-hull boats.
